AQT SECURES ITS FIRST QUANTUM COMPUTING SYSTEM SALE

The Tyrolean company AQT has acquired its largest contract in its young company history. Together with the Munich Quantum Valley, the Leibniz Computing Center (LRZ) will receive an innovative quantum system from AQT, based on trapped ion technology, for approximately 9.8 million euros.

Quantum memory lifetime

Storage and manipulation of quantum information can be affected by disturbances from the environment. However due to the precision control of laser light and magnetic fields, the quantum memory on AQT’s quantum computers persists for the equivalent of up to 1000 quantum gate operations.

ROWAN – Full control of laser light

Small footprint, simple integration in a standard 19-inch rack and control over the laser light amplitude, frequency and phase – perfectly suitable for AMO experiments.

A NEW EUROPEAN ACHIEVEMENT – QUANTUM VOLUME OF 128

AQT successfully demonstrates a Quantum Volume of 128 on its 19-inch rack-compatible Quantum Computer system PINE. The Quantum Volume Test is an internationally applied benchmark that assesses and describes the computational power of a quantum computer with a single number.

BEECH – ULTRA LOW DRIFT OPTICAL REFERENCE FOR QUANTUM APPLICATIONS

Thanks to its compact design, low drift rate and full remote control, BEECH is perfect for laser stabilisation in demanding applications like quantum computing, simulation and optical clocks.

PINE SET-UP – The leading modular trapped ion architecture for your quantum applications.

Fully functional ion trap in a table-top size for the storage and manipulation of up to 50 qubits – perfect for the integration in a 19-inch rack or laboratory infrastructure.

PINE TRAP – High-performance ion trap for quantum applications

We offer an ion trap with extremely low heating rates, high optical access, all required electrical feedthroughs and available for multiple ion-species – to help speedup your research.

Push your quantum use-cases with our fault-tolerant performance levels

Algorithm depth is key to implement quantum applications, which means that error rates should be as low as possible. We demonstrated error rates of less than 1 in 100 to help you push for novel use-cases.

19” RACK QUANTUM COMPUTING JUST DEMONSTRATED 20 QUBITS

Industry standards such as the 19” rack facilitate the integration of novel technologies into existing infrastructure. Here, AQT has demonstrated the first rack-based quantum computer supporting 20 qubits.

The world’s leading 19”
rack-mounted quantum computer

A capacity of 20 qubits, requiring less than 2 sqm footprint, power consumption of less than 2 kW, perfect for the installation at high-performance computing infrastructures and data-centers.
