We had the honour of welcoming the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, to AQT.
The focus of the visit was an ambitious vision put forward by Federal Presidents Steinmeier and Van der Bellen: “Europe must and can reinvent itself!”

In Innsbruck, at AQT, we continuously explore and establish new paths. AQT was founded in 2018 by Rainer Blatt, Thomas Monz, and Prof. Peter Zoller. Building on decades of experience in experimental and theoretical quantum information processing, we develop and build quantum computers in Austria. By committing to research and development, AQT has become a true model of innovation and excellence in Europe. We already enable our customers to accelerate their research with our quantum instruments, install quantum computers on site, or access quantum computers conveniently via the cloud.
We express our sincere thanks to President Steinmeier, and President Van der Bellen, accompanied by Anton Mattle, Karin Prien and the diplomatic delegation for taking the time to visit us at AQT. We would also like to thank all who were involved in coordinating this exceptional visit.
We can and will reinvent computing and technology in Europe!
